Application:
>Features: Low Volatile Benzotriazole UV Absorber; high molecular weight.
>Tinuvin 234 exhibits high absorbance in the 300–400nm region and minimal absorbance in the visible region (> 400 nm) of the spectrum.
>Especially suited for polycarbonates, polyesters and other polymers usually processed at high temperatures. In polyolefins, it has low volatility at high temperatures and high resistance to thermal degradation for polyolefin compounding and molding applications. It is especially suitable for applications of high surface area, such as films and fibers.
>UV 234 can be used alone or in combination with other additives (HALS, antioxidants).
>Use levels of UV 234 range between 0.15 and 0.60 %, depending on the substrate and performance requirements of the final application.
