Additives for Polyolefin

Polyolefin Introduction

Polyolefins are quantitatively the largest group of plastics. Depending on the starting materials (monomers) and the density (processing temperature), polyolefins may be classified according to the following principal groups:

  1. LDPE = Low-Density Polyethylene
  2. LLDPE = Linear Low-Density Polyethylene
  3. HDPE = High-Density Polyethylene
  4. PP = Polypropylene.

Baoxu Additives for Polyolefin

Baoxu Chemical Supply Antioxidants, Colorants, flame-retardants, Heat Stabilizers, Impact Modifiers, Lubricants, Nucleating Agents, OBAs, UV Stabilizers for Polyolefin plastics.  We Simply Plastic Compounding.

Antioxidant for Polyolefin

Polymer antioxidants can be added to improve the shelf life of the product or to improve its high-temperature stability. while adding a stability margin during thermal processing. Antioxidant BX AO 1010, BX AO 1076, BX AO 168 is used a general purpose Antioxidant for Polyolefin plastics, BX AO 626 together with BX AO 1010 can be used for a high-performance Antioxidant for Polyolefin. For black color Polyolefin product,BX AO DSTDP, BX AO DLTDP is recommended.

Compatibilizer & Impact Modifiers for Polyolefin

Impact Modifiers are substances that increase the durability of molded or extruded plastics, especially those that need to be constantly subjected to impact forces like cold weather. They are added to compounded materials to provide performance features. They provide strength and break resistance to the product for which they are added. They also provide rigidity to the product to prevent it from wrapping or sagging during everyday use. POE and PP-G-MAH, PE-G-MAH are used for Polyolefin as impact modifiers. Baoxu Chemical offer impact modifier for Polyolefin as table below

Pigment and Dyes for Polyolefin

Colorants give color to polymers, plastics, coatings, inks, and fiber. Every color we see in our daily life is related to colorants. For industry usage colorants, we offer organic pigments, solvent dyes, fluorescent pigments, and titanium dioxide. In the colorant portfolio, our products are analogs to BASF and other brands.

Flame Retardant for Polyolefin

Combustion could occur when a substance is heated to its flammable temperature in the presence of oxygen. Flame retardants are generally designed to provide a particular level of resistance to ignition or flame spread. This is achieved by suppressing oxygen availability, building up of char at the surface, inhibiting the combustion reaction within the flame area, or by other mechanics.

Halogen Flame Retardants for Polyolefin

Brominated flame retardant and antimony trioxide are used together as halogen flame retardants for Polyolefins .

Halogen Free Flame Retardants for Polyolefin

BX FR PPAP, BX FR MCA, BX FR MPP , BX FR ADP, BX FR AHP, are often used as halogen-free flame retardants for Polyolefins .

Lubricant for Polyolefin

Lubricants are a kind of additive used to improve the processing and appearance of polymers. The function of lubricants is to reduce friction, improve fluidity and mold release during resin or compound processing, and increase the surface smoothness of products. EBS, PE Wax, PPA can be used as lubricant for Polyolefin.

Nucleating Agent for Polyolefin

Nucleating agents which also known as clarifying agents (clarifiers), improve the crystallization of semi-crystalline polymers. BX NA 3988, BX NA 21, BX NA 11 can be used for Polyolefin PP plastic.

Optical Brightener for Polyolefin

Optical brighteners are used to mask yellow or increase the whiteness of plastics, inks, coatings, paper, and fiber. OB and KSN can be used in Polyolefin as optical brighteners.

UV Stabilizer for Polyolefin

UV stabilizers contain two types of light stabilizers: Ultraviolet Light Absorbers (UVA) and Hindered-Amine Light Stabilizers (HALS), used individually or as blends. UVA filters harmful UV light and helps prevent color change and delamination of coatings, adhesives, and sealants. HALS trap free radicals once they are formed and are effective in retaining surface properties such as gloss and preventing cracking and chalking of paints. The combination of these two families is highly synergistic. UV absorber BX UV 329. BX UV 326, BX UV 531 used together with HALS BX UV 770, BX UV 944, BX UV 783, BX UV 2020 can be used in POLYOLEFIN as UV Stabilizer Additive.
